Towards the end of his life, from about 1904, he painted mainly male nudes. The earlier of these phases has caused him to sometimes be called the blue painter. Jansson later moved to Timmermansgatan in Sdermalm and in this work he depicts the stairs up to Mariaberget. Artist: Eugne Fredrik Jansson Created: 1899 Frame not included.
